Young Writers’ Competition: Mission Contamination

Students at Aspire are celebrating their success in a national writing competition!
There were over 16,000 entries from across the country and the mini sagas of 17 of our students have been selected for publication. Congratulations to those students and well done to all those who took part in the competition!
The task was to write a short story of 100 words (or less!) telling a thrilling tale of what would happen if Planet Earth became contaminated. Experimenting with narrator, tone and setting, students let their imaginations explore a variety of different scenarios.
The judges at Young Writers praised our students for their imagination and creativity, as well as originality and their use of language.
Watch this space for a selection of the thrilling sagas …
