11E have been investigating nets of cubes, discovering which ones worked and which didn’t. It was a hands-on lesson with lots of kinaesthetic learning and the students were given the opportunity to put their endurance and problem solving skills to the test. At the end of the lesson they were given different nets to assemble. Two of the students worked together to make an Icosahedron, which I’m sure you all know, is a shape with twenty faces.
