International Cuisines (Day 1)

This week students are learning about international cuisines and how different cultures and lifestyles can affect the way people eat. Students then go on to produce a dish from the culture they have learned about. Today they started by making a chicken tikka masala and Nan bread. Although tikka masala is commonly known as England’s national dish, its origins reveal a fascinating and complex history and shows how dishes can change over the years by adapting and borrowing elements from other cultures.
